What we do know is that the four photos below comprise a panoramic photograph found among the photographs collected by Carroll Walker in the collection of the Sargeant Memorial Room, Norfolk Public Library. A panorama of a similar style and time was taken of Glenwood Park, but the two photos have no obvious similarity otherwise. The Library of Virginia may also have a copy of the panorama. Another clue: In the photo, it appears that the man holding a camera may be either Mr. Bellamy or Mr. Hough, of the real estate firm of Bellamy and Hough. |
