The “Llewellyn Home” or “Llewellyn Manor,” located on the south side of 119 10th Street, between Granby Street and Llewellyn Avenue, was surveyed by the WPA (Norfolk No.24) in the 1930s.  The survey gives the date of this house as 1712 and states that it “is said to be the oldest house in Norfolk, noting that its owners included “Abel Llewellyn 1712,” Charles B. Llewellyn, Sarah Lee Omohundro, and Lee Llewellyn, and that “General Lafayette was guest here in 1824.” The owner at that time was Mr. S.C. Omohundro.
