Richmond Daily Dispatch, Aug. 21, 1855: “A lighter leaves the end of Wide Water street every morning, with the sick for the hospital at Lambert’s Point.” The Dispatch of Aug. 23rd referred to the hospital as “Julappi Hospital at Lambert’s Point.”
