"Fall Races – The Norfolk Jockey Club fall races will commence on the 4th Tuesday in September, being the 23d day of the month…. Joshua C. Garrison, Proprietor. The subscriber forewarns all persons from gunning, or carrying dogs on the above Race Course, as well as the adjoining farm, known by the name of Kelly's."
