Dorney's Eggs

"Eggs Again – The Transcript and Day Book have been crowing over remarkable productions of some members of the feathered tribes en famille, such as small eggs, double eggs, and eggs of hen-ormous dimensions; Hampton Roads Times Magazine
      HamptonRoadsTimes.combut we saw Friday two produced by Shanghai hen, belonging to Mr. S. Dorney, one of which is about the size of the egg of a blue bird, and the other not larger than a robin's egg.  The hen weighs about 10 lbs."
