Brambleton Lots, 1891
(For more Norfolk geography tidbits, click here.)
“Brambleton Lots for Sale. A syndicate has recently purchased the Hemenway property, fronting on Brambleton, Reservoir and Marshall Avenues.
This property is a short distance from the site of the proposed Union Depot, and the opening of Cove street, which has been directed by the City Council, will give another means of access to the business part of the city. It is close to the business portion of the city, having two street car lines running near it. It is high and well drained, and is the most desirable location for residences in the city.
This syndicate intends to pave the sidewalks and put the streets in good condition.
Parties wishing to secure lots or homes on easy terms, will find it to their advantage to call at W.J. Mason and Co’s. Corner Park and Brambleton Avenues. Phone 705.”
